Inspired by the native North American artefacts in the British Museum, this totem pole began as an exercise in exaggerating human facial expressions. Drawn whilst working on 'Martinis/ Pints'. These facial expressions developed into those influenced by alcohol. Beginning with Totem #1, each Totem that proceeds is an attempt to go deeper into capturing drunken expressions in more detail and absurdity.
